Presentation Format

Oral Presentations

All talks will be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions and transition to the next speaker. If you plan to use slides or other projected media, please bring your talk on a flash drive to have it installed on the computer before the beginning of your session. Students should report to their presentation rooms prior to the session to work out any technical details, especially if video is being used.

Posters

Posters should be no larger than 40" X 60". Tack board and tacks will be provided. Typical poster size is 36" X 48", and we can accommodate either horizontal or vertical posters. Students must stay with their poster for the duration of their allotted session and be prepared to discuss their research.

Models and Exhibits

There will be limited space for the display of models (architecture and others) and original artwork (ceramics, sculptures, and other art that can be placed on tables). Easels will be available for paintings, drawings, and other hanging artwork. Students must stay with their piece of work for the duration of their allotted session in which their work will be on display and be prepared to discuss their piece (the inspiration for it, meaning behind it, choice of media, etc.).
